Fever blisters are also known as cold sores which usually appear on the lips or in the outer edges of your mouth. It looks like small red blisters. The other natural remedy for fever blister is to apply the paste of cornstarch to the affected area. Rubbing of ice on the sore is also an effective home remedy for cold sores. Rub the ice on the affected area for 10 minutes and in every hour. It will prevent the movement of virus to the skin. You can also apply the balm prepared from the extract of lemon in order to speed up the healing process. The healing process of cold sores can also be accelerated by the application of extract of mint. You can also apply the spirit of camphor on the affected area. It is said that drinking several cups of sage tea with a dash of powdered ginger is also effective home remedy for fever blisters. But you should have to continue this process unless you get complete relief. Vaseline is also effective in healing the cold sores. It softens the blisters and thus prevents it from cracking or bleeding.
